The sixteenth release on Fur Trade Recordings offers the world a much-needed introduction to Montreal techno producer CMD (aka Cyan),
one of the famed Canadian city's next wave of uber-talented women busily reshaping the local scene.

Corina MacDonald is a producer, DJ, radio-show host. Her show modular_systems has become a reliable outlet for deep electronic sounds of all kinds, from experimental and noise to techno, house and beyond. She has released music independently and on Canadian labels such as pertin_nce, Low Noise Productions and Fur Trade Recordings.

Elementals EP showcases four moody builders that blend dub-techno's ethereal echo-chamber and infuse it with pastoral soundscapes that bring to mind the best
qualities of DeepChord, Fluxion, and early Monolake. An ideal gateway to winter's long nights, for those who don't worry about the sun coming up.
